IT ALWAYS FEELS GREAT TO HELP A GOOD CAUSE!

• Talk to your teacher about placing a donation jar in the classroom. Ask your classmates to each donate $1 a month and at the end of the school year, place the donation in your class’ name to the American Red Cross. The Red Cross will acknowledge it with a thank you letter.
• Find out how you can donate money to your local Park District. Your donation will most likely go to something fun like a new park, basketball court or community swimming pool.
• Next time you are grocery shopping with your mom, be on the lookout for donation boxes at cash registers. Remind your mom that instead of placing the change in her change purse, place it in the box.
• Instead of donating your money – why not help others by donating your time. Check with American Red Cross, Children’s Hospital, or local zoo for volunteer opportunities.
